Get Involved

Last year’s fair drew over 2,800 visitors and included more than 100 on-site and affiliated exhibitors. It connected citizens, businesses, non-profits and government in a collaborative effort to make our area both prosperous and livable. We welcome your participation and need your support in promoting positive examples of sustainability in the Kanawha Valley.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help prepare for the fair and keep things working smoothly on the big day! Starting immediately, you can help by distributing posters and rack cards to businesses for display. Before the fair, we will need help making signs, and assisting exhibitors in setting up displays. There will be plenty of opportunities to volunteer at the fair, from staffing the information booth, to directing parking, to helping with recycling and composting operations.

If you would like to help make the 2nd annual Sustainability Fair happen, Please call the KVC office at (304) 941-3281. To register to volunteer, download the Volunteer Information Form and e-mail it to info@kvc-fair.org, or send it to

  • Networking with others involved in promoting sustainability in your community.
