Food
This year, exhibitors and attendees can find lunch or snack options at the Sustainability Fair from variety of vendors, including Bluegrass Kitchen and Tricky Fish, the Purple Onion, Healthy Life Market, Capitol Roasters and the Monroe Farm Market. Food ingredients will be selected with sustainability in mind, meaning local, organic, and healthy options will be highlighted.
Also, be sure to check out the Pro Start youth cooking demonstration and tasting at Ferguson Kitchen Gallery! The young chefs will prepare a variety of small dishes using locally-grown and organic foods on Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Observers will be invited to enjoy the delicious results at no charge. Pro Start's demonstration was a highlight of last year's Fair and should delight audiences again this year.
